Önusberget wind farm (also called project AURA) is the first sub-project of Markbygden Phase 3 and consist of up to 137 wind turbines GE-158 on 121m high towers. In 2018 Önusberget received the environmental permit to construct and operate wind turbines within the southeastern part of Phase 3. Önusberget wind farm is connected to Rabäcken substation of Markbygden Net AB.
The project was developed by Svevind AB and sold to German asset manager Luxcara in 2019 before construction start.
