After initial consultations with the municipality of Storuman and first studies of the area’s conditions, Svevind AB has found the area interesting for wind power expansion. Initial contacts with authorities regarding the wind power have been positive and during the autumn of 2021, wind measurements were carried out, among other things. In 2022, further investigations and inventories were performed, contact has been made for early dialogue with relevant stakeholders and formal consultations were held. Consultancy company Sweco had been engaged to carry out a specific environmental assessment in accordance with the Environmental Code. This project was sold to Statkraft in 2023.
