In 2008, Svevind obtained a permit to build and operate 40 wind turbines on the plateau Gabrielsberget in the municipality of Nordmaling. The first 20 wind turbines were erected and commissioned in early 2011, and the remaining 20 were erected in 2012. The entire wind farm has been in full operation since the summer of 2012.
This project, originally owned and operated in a joint venture by Svevind AB and Enercon GmbH, was sold to a third party after several years of operation.
